I used to find it really, really hard to say it.  But that's because for me it meant taking a big step.  I hate expressing emotions and my ex just didn't get it.  But I've learned, those three words said simply, maybe early morning, can get a smile out of even the sleepiest loved ones.  Or late at night, or whenever, really, whenever he least expects it.

Or perhaps write it on a piece of paper and put it on a pillow or somewhere you know he'll find it.  You'd be surprised what the simplicity of those words can mean to someone.  I was.
