How to test a Battery Charger ?

I have a small transofmer that is used to recharge my lawn trimmer with a sealed lead-acid battery. I checked the battery and it seems ok so I suspect the charger may be shot and is not charging. How can I test the charger to see if it is working?

  1. Check it it voltmeter if you have one.

    It needs to charge the voltage of your battery.
