How to text during class?

Sometimes i write down my keyboard layout (blackjack 2), or stick it in my hoodie pocket. What do you guys do?

i don't. my phone sits in my locker turned off throughout the day. at my school you can use your phone at lunch of if there is an emergency but other than that you cant. some teachers go as far as not allowing hooded sweatshirts in their classrooms. school is where you learn not text your friends. my parents closely monitor the times at which i text, if i am caught with any during school without a good reason my phone gets taken away. which is fine by me because it reminds me that i am at school to learn. talking to my friends is for between classes, and after school. not during class when something important may be being said by the teacher.

but i just mostly have mine out anyway b/c i stay in the back so the teacher can't see me!

I keep my phone under my desk, but I keep eye contact either with the teacher or look around the room while I'm texting so its not obvious. Learn to text without having to look at your phone

oh gawd i used to be the most horrible person at this i got my phone taken away like 10 times last year... but ive gotten better it all depends on where u r in the classroom and how much attention the teacher pays attention to the class but a good way is just hide it under ur books and put all ur c**p on ur desk and text works for my buds...

sit near the back at the side of the classroom. make sure You are not in the teachers direct eye line. Put it on silent obviously. TEXT UNDER THE DESK INBETWEEN YOUR LEGSS....

Many a time has my phone gone off in class, and usually there is a rude embarrassing ringtone to signify it. Hahaa this is funny cos i go to a really posh private all girls school... but sh*t happens...

But i mean you should listen in lessons aswell, i hope it's just for important stuff(!)

I usually put it in my purse and act like I'm rummaging around for a pencil, but that only works if your teacher isn't bothered by people going through their purses because I have had teachers like that. Or I'll text after I'm done with my work because then I can put my head down on the desk and I'll look down and lay my forehead on one arm and text with the other in my lap. Or I'll read a book in my lap and text in my lap and flip the pages every so often. Same with whenever you are doing textbook studies in class, put the book in your lap and text, but make sure you have a chance to read ahead first so if the teacher asks you a question, you'll know the answer. Not knowing the answer to a question or answering like you've been startled like "Huh? What?" raises a teacher's suspicion. I'll also put it in my desk and just text because I have taught myself to text without looking at the keys. I don't usually put it in my pocket though. Also you can put it up your sleeve of your jacket and keep your arm at your side. I do that with my mp3 player too. I put the cord up my arm and it's hidden by my hair while the mp3 player is still in my hand so I can change it. And where you sit also plays a big part in it. Hope that helps XD

i sit in the back so the teacher can't really see me. but under my desk or by my leg if i am sorat sitting sideways. the hoodie pocket is a good idea

if you have a book bag you can just put it in there. or try putting it under your shirt. you could even try just putting a book in front of it. pretend like you're reading.

i dont at all.cell phones should be illegal.i hate them and everyone who has one.

i think its sooo funny when we have a search and everyone gets their phones took up.i laugh at them for it.haha
