How to theme these gift wrappings?

Question

I love to decorate gifts and really go all out theming them..Can anyone come up with any ideas for theming the giftwrapping for these people?:

1. Grandmother - homemaker,family oriented,loves to cook, decorate, garden, knit, and gossip

2. My Mother - Outdoorsy, loves the beach, mountainbiking, health foods, cooking, complete opposite of her mother

3.My Older Brother - Turning eighteen, going off to college, football player, loves sports, works hard for his money, likes to dress well

4. My Other older brother - Sixteen, into computers, economy, and the enviornment, plays video games nonstop, likes comedy central

5. My Father - Musician, plays guitar, loves to cook and eat and drink, loves sports

Answer 1

1 - Some knitting patterns, or pages from a decorating or gardening book/magazine

2 - Maybe a beach towel

3 - GQ pages, practical things for college, like pillow cases or blankets

4 - recylced newspaper - the financial section

5 - Sheet music ... or a menu from his favorite restaurant.

For your grandmother, something fun could be done with making a "basket" of goodies out of a terracotta pot or a planting tray.

For your mother, a neat basket of health foods and cooking utensils could be nice.

It would be fun for your older brother to perhaps find a cheap football or something similar and slit it open to put a present inside.

For your other older brother, I would suggest wrapping paper that looks like money.

And for your father, I've seen some really cute gift packs that were packaged into those cardboard carriers like the glass Coke bottles come in. Generally they include some snack foods stuffed into about two of the "cubbies," drinks left in two, and CDs or movies or something like that placed in the last two areas, which can be cut to seperate if needed for the extra space to stow the goodies.
