MY son is turning one.And its the end of july.Im just going to have just family. And i want to throw a cute birthday party but not spend alot of money. At our apartment we are renting out a room beside the pool and we are going to have you know cake and ice cream. But for food we were going to get pizza.i thought that might be good for a my son's one year old b-day party. So what else can i do?For the party? No kids only him and my stepson. And the rest are in there late 20's and his grandparents.I just want it to be good. And fun.So what im asking is what else can i do for the party? We have a room rented out by the pool so what else can i do?I know he is turning one years old but it needs to be fun.

  1. You might want to consider deciding on a theme. You might pick something where you can pick up decorations at the Dollar Store to save money. You can get a few balloons, tablecloths, and some streamers. You might also want to consider having the adults play some games, since there will not be a lot of children at the party.(You could even have the adults play childhood games)  You could get one of those frames where you put a picture in the center and people can write around the photo, and you can have the adults write their favorite memory of your son in his first year, and then you can put it up in his room.

  2. buy a cake, decorate a room, say surprise. there u go.

  3. invite some of his wittle friends and just let them play around

  4. Cake and ice cream and fun

    Get a little older too.

  5. board games

pin the tail on the donkey

    cool decorations

    fun toys for the pool

    activities were you earn prizes

you can buy all this for really cheap at like the dollar store or party city you can get bags of candy for cheap and everything else find some cute decorations at those places or target places like that they are all cheap good luck

  6. I always had a "big cake" for the guests and a little cake for the baby to tear into.  Something else that I have heard about is giving the guest disposable cameras.  You are there to celebrate a 1 year old so as long as he and your stepson have fun thats what really matters.  I think the pool party idea is always no fail.  Having food there that you dont have to prepare makes it more enjoyable for you to.  Sounds like you have it covered, unless you have  a pinata' for the stepson and the adults.  That is always a big hit for even the "biggest kid".  Have fun and enjoy!!!!!!!!!

  7. think of a game that you and your family will

    be the player....

    though you guys are old...

the 2 kids in the family

will realize how lucky they are

that they belong to a happy family

money and a fabulous party are useless

without a loving family at your side...

    ...

    ...

    just a simple suggestion...

    huhuhuhuh...

    anyway...

    happy birthday to your son...

    gudluck on your party...
