My BFF and i are throwing a end of the school year party, at her house and in June and July our birthday parties. Both guys and girls will be and all parties, and i'm planning on having all of them at her house in the country. Everyone likes a bit of everything, so what are some cool things to have in a teen party? Were having a bonfire, music (don't know what kind! I need music that everyone will enjoy), and food...i got that down. but usually everyone sits on their *** doing nothing. What are some things we can do to get people up on their feet, and moving dancing, walking what?!?!? Cause we want this party to be awesome!

  1. weel if your having a bonfire you need SMORESSSSS LOTS OF THEM!!! and alc! have drinking games that will get people off there *** and its fun...well depending how old you are...if you like 14-16 if your chilling inside to rent a scary movie play truth or dare! haha for music just play stuff all your friends usually listen to ask people to bring cds and junk or make some

  2. Do you have a pool? I always have pool parties... and they never get boring! They usually start around 3, and people start leaving around 9 or 10. The last people leave around midnight. No one is EVER bored!

Another great cheap thing is a slip n slide. I don't care how old you are... it's fun! I had one at my Sweet 16. Find a flat area and lay down a large tarp. Weigh it down. I used bricks, but on occassion we slid into them. I suggest finding a way to tie it down. Cover the tarp with dish soap and water... you're good to go! If you are going back in a pool, be sure to rinse off.

The thing is to have lots of people and lots going on. (I like the bonfire and music idea! Just have people bring their favorite CDs so everyone has something and there's variety.) Let people do their own thing. If you have a basketball hoop, leave out some balls. Let people fo what they want. Get some board games for the low-key people. Apples to Apples is one of my favorites. It's a conversation game. Keep the food coming... don't serve it all at once.

I've always had amazing parties. From my 1st Birthday to my 18th (which had no planning! I went home from college for a weekend, said let's have a party, called people, and we did it!) I've never had a dull party. My parties last for hours and hours. Same with my other friends. Good people, good food, lots of random things to do... it keeps you going. If you live in the country... try man hunt, or flag hunt, or scavenger hunts. Get creative. Plan lots of games or things to do... but don't fret if you don't do them all.
