How to throw best high school house party?

i am a freshman and i wanna have a house party to meet more people. i dont no what to do i dont want the party to be lame and be known as the kid who has lame parties. what are some things i can do at the party?

ok so you can't have any orginized things tv and music constantly and if no tv the guitar hero no parents at all . cans not 2 leters. kinda dark. it dosnt need to cost much invite 1 or 2 uncool people. chances are after the party they will be cool and you need to have more girls that boys.

lots of music and lots of beer lol...oh and lots of pot (for the record I don't drink nor do I do drugs) but come on haven't you seen all them highschool movies?

Have a variety of stuff to do, ie- pool out back, couches for people to hang out on and talk, music playing everywhere, maybe a tv screen with movies/music videos playing or people playing computer games, preferably something people like to watch or can get involved in, like guitar hero, singstar or the buzz quiz game.

Have plenty of food and drink, it doesnt have to be fancy food, chips, dip, candy/chocolate, pizza, party pies and sausage rolls will probably do it.

And make sure you work the party, make sure people are having a good time, if they arent, ask them what they would like to do and see if you can make it happen, it is very important to be a good host.
