  1. try to work out your arms to build strength.

  2. naturally it will get faster as you grow up, so when you hit about 18 you should reach about 80, anything after that you will have to do some kind of conditioning

  3. Wow, no one gave the answer that the MLB coaches would've gave.

    LONG TOSS!

But at your age don't throw curve balls or try to throw a fastball above 80mph. I would suggest waiting until you're a little older and can make a better team if you think you could possible make it to MLB one day.

Curveballs and throwing overly fast for too many innings will hurt you in the long run. If you've already made your allstar team just keep working on your accuracy. If you can paint the outside corner with an 80 mph every time you'll be set dude.

  4. Well don't really worry about throwing harder if your already good. But over time just keep on going to the gym and building up your biceps and your triceps and over time you'll start to throw harder and harder.

  5. These videos from http://youtube.com are really helpful so here is some links that may help you.

  6. Weight training should increase your pitching speed. However, I think you should choose a most comfortable pitching stance first, so you can throw harder but not losing control. In fact, you might find you are throwing harder while you are in control.

In addition, when you are doing your weight training, you should focus on whole body rather than arm strength. Pitching power is contributed from almost every part of your major muscles, so good well balanced weight training is important.

Another thing is stretching. When you are looking at the pitching physics, a soft body will allow you to put more torque while you are throwing. Probably hardly anyone in MLB will go to yoga class because it might be too g*y for them to do so. If you think go to Yoga class is too g*y, you can buy videos and do it at home. My flatmate is doing it, but he is actually g*y.

Finally, the mental strength can play a good part as well. You throw harder if you are excited, angry or competitive. Set up what mind set you want before the game.
