  1. put some good tunes on, blast then out and just go for it, i bet it wont take as long as you think it will

  2. Sounds like a nightmare!

-First off get out your favourite Cd or switch on the radio loud. It helps you get through, trust me!

-Have a starting point eg. the door, the bed etc and work your way round the room.

-Go object by object, putting things away, throwing things in the bin, taking a mug downstairs, giving things back to other people.. you'll do a lot of walking.

-Stay focused, don't get distracted by an old toy you've just found and haven't seen for ages, you can do all that later when you're sitting in your lovely clean and tidy room.

-Open the window, draw back the curtains and if necessary purchase a good air freshener!

-If it helps, put things into boxes: things that need fixing, charity, don't know what to do with it etc.

It does seem boring, but you will feel a sense of satisfaction afterwards. It's one way to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon!

  3. No 12 shovel and 3 yard skip

  4. well get off off here and then start cleaning your room!!

  5. Do one bit at a time,

first off, get rid of any dirty cups or stinky plates hidden under your bed,

then...get a new dustbin bag and go around your room and put ANY rubbish it it, if you're not sure whether you want to throw it away, put it in a different pile and go back to it later,

sort out your washing from what is clean and what is dirty.

put your dirty washing in a pile and hang up and clean washing you havent got around to putting away yet.

sort out if you wat to keep the things you were not sure about throwing away, and then put your dirty washing on (in the washing machine)

after you've done polish and hoover your room,

shouldn't take you more than an hour and a half!

  6. just get it done now

  7. try setting small goal that will only take like five or ten minutes like pick up clothes  or take mugs to kitchen and so on and just do it for five or ten minutes then go answer a few Q's or watch TV or go for a walk then come back and do some more just pick at it but make sure you are doing it every day  and when it get less overwhelming you can just put on some tunes and finish it up

  8. just 14 ??? what are you going to be like when you are 20  i like to see you do not need help

  9. You need to stop being lazy

  10. Get your ipod/whatever and listen to it while you tidy. Use something with earphones anyway because then you can move around and still be able to hear you music.

First put all the dishes and mugs etc in the kitchen sink; wash them later, or you'll become distracted from room cleaning

Then clear your bed off, re-make it.

Pick up all your dirty clothes and put in laundry basket

Pick up all your clean clothes and fold, put on bed

Get a bin bag and throw out all the stuff you don't want/need (Have a charity bag too if your having a really good clear out)

collect the things from the floor, desk etc that you do want, and put into groupings like make up, hair products, stationary etc on your bed . A tidy surface (the bed) makes it easier to see what you have!

If you don't have some storage boxes it's worth getting some, it makes everything a lot easier if you know where your stuff is.

Put your clean clothes away, put your make up, hair products, nail varnishes etc into their boxes.

    Brush/hoover the floor.

    Done!

Try to do it as briskly as possible, think of it as exercise.

  11. you need to throw away some stuff. you sound like a packrat and buy new things

  12. I completely understand your desperation. I suggest you pick a corner of your room as the place to start. Just so you don't drive yourself crazy, you can be listening to music at the same time. Also, it might help to have a friend over to keep you company while you clean. I hope this helps.
