half knowledge is always dangerous.

for trading you need a demat account.

okie, lets take a step back.

first of all, catch hold of a broker (or agent) and ask him to give you an overview of how market works and how trading happens.

then do some investigations through websites and Tv (ndtv profit)

then next step get a demat account from icici or hdfc or kotak, etc., and start trading
