  1. Don't you worry at all. Kittens comes pre-programmed with the know how on using the litter box. All you have to do is show it to them, encourage them to use it and praise them when they did a good job.

To begin, make sure you purchase a litterbox that is suitable for your small kittens. Make sure the sides are low enough so they can easily climb in and out of the box.

I know kittens are active and they run around loose. So, if possible, during litter trainning time, try to confine them to only a few areas of the house. This way, you will be able to properly locate your litterbox and teach the kittens how to use them.

Place them in the litterbox after each mealtime, playtime, naptime. You have to be very consistent. Place them into the box and gently guide their litter paws to scratch the litter. Depending on the kittens, their reaction could be totally different. Some will run away as fast as he could, some will sit and play, flicking litter everywhere, some will even lay down and take a nap! Don't worry about that, those are all very normal. Sooner or later, they will get the idea.

Also, you need to be their pee/p**p patrol guard. :) Be on the look out. Whenever you see the signs of going to pee/p**p, act immediately. Take the kitten away from whichever spot he's at and place him into his litter box. It can really get messy at times but during their trainning period, you have to get down and dirty with them.

You have to clean up urine spot as soon as the area is soiled. Kittens may use the spot again if they can smell it. You can use a variety of cleaners for this job and my favorite is Nature's Miracle. You can get this easily in any pet store.

You can teach her to learn her name and come when call by following these few tips:-

Talk to your cat - a lot. Encourage her to come to you, and regularly pet her and brush her.

Choose a treat that she has shown she likes.

Pick a special word, such as "snack" or "dessert." It must be a word she will associate only with the special snack.

Use your special word during her next snack time. In her presence, place one piece of the food in her empty dish and say the special word.

Say the word again after she eats the first piece. Place another piece of the food in her dish and say the special word again.

Walk away. If she is giving you "I am really starving" cries, say your word again and give her one more piece. Then walk out of the room.

Repeat the procedure in 5 minutes. Cats learn very quickly when they are motivated.

Follow this procedure for the next several days and eventually she will get the idea.

It'll take a while for her to settle down so don't think too much about it. Probably in a few days, she'll be curious to explore and start moving about the house. As with the drinking part, just leave water bowls around the house. She'll drink when she gets thirsty.

Actually, this may seem long but it's nothing much to it.  So, good luck to you and thanks for taking care of the kitten!

  2. you'll just have to give her time.   It took my cat about 2 weeks before she would come up to me and my boyfriend.  She should already be litter trained.  Also, she would only eat at night when we were sleeping for the first 5 or so days.  (I have no idea why)  We bought her canned food and she couldn't resist and then she began eating in front of us.  Good luck!

  3. Hear a link http://cats.about.com/library/howto/htli...

of how litter train your cat I hope it helps. make cat sound to her. take to the vet to spay her.

  4. Try picking him up and petting and holding him for awhile. Also try hand feeding him that should help him trust you. If the cat starts using the bathroom in a certain spot try putting the liter box in that spot. It worked for me. Also to get him to come to you make sure you say his name alot around him so he learns it.
