  1. You should run with spikes if you have any. Even if you don't you should follow this workout.

    1. Go to the track. Stretch all of your muscles so you won't feel tense.

    2. Do plyometrics such as A Skips, Butt Kicks, etc...

    3. After that, do 10 Accelerations on a straightaway because it helps when running the 100m. You should start off slow until you get to a certain point say about 30-50m, then you should do an all out sprint for the rest of the meters. As you do each acceleration, you should gradually increase your speed, but don't overdo it and take your time when you do this.

    4. After that, you should do 3x 55m sprints. Then you should do about 3-6x 100m but split it into 2 parts. After doing the first three, take a 5 min. break and finish the last three. It's part of full recovery. You should be going hard on these sprints.

HELPFUL TIP!!: When running, make sure you are pumping your arms from your pockets to ears. This is part of your form which is a critical part that needs to be good in order for you to win your race. During your plyometrics, be sure to practice it and do it when you run. Every good sprinter does this since it is VERY IMPORTANT. So, don't put it aside. Remember DRINK PLENTY OF WATER.

  2. you have to run and participate in obstacle courses
