  1. Mileage is the key. Between June 1 and September 1, I run 1000-1100 miles. Most days are just long easy or steady runs (usually twice a day) with a day of hard hill repeats sometime during the week, and a very hard long run in the hills on the weekend. Towards the middle-end of summer, I start running more time trials and 5K races to get my body used to the speed and intensity. But that aside, mileage mileage, mileage.

  2. uhm run a little every day do timing and long distances hope i help

  3. well... i guess since cross country has alot of running you could mabe try.. wait for it

    wait for it!

    RUNNING!

  4. Well, my coach has told me to start off with 10-15 minutes of running for one week and then gradually increase 5 minutes each week. Like 1st week would be 10-15 minutes, for the 2nd week, another 5 minutes is added.

  5. Run!!!!!!! But make sure it isnt all flat land, try to run on hills. Also work on your start off and ending sprint. A way i try to stay in shape for cross country is doing 5 and 10 ks.
