How to transfer domain to another registrar? Yahoo appends its name in tech contact. Whois reports mismatch.?

Question

I have requested electronically a transfer of the domain out of yahoo to enom providing a unique key that is associated with each domain.

But Enom reports

"unable to retrieve current domain contacts from UWhois" I think the problem is in yahoo registration that appens as a technical contact their own info. How can I correct the yahoo entries?

I will appreciate any input and this issue should effect many people.

The error message you described suggests the gaining registrar is unable to "parse" or obtain the WHOIS information from the losing one, specifically the administrative contact details. That's a potentially big problem when trying to transfer a domain name online.
