I have a Mac that can also switch over to Windows. I'm trying to download an MP3 burner software to burn an MP3 CD with hundreds of songs but all the programs only run on Windows. I can switch to Windows but how can I transfer my entire music library from iTunes on my Mac to iTunes on my PC so I can download the software and burn the CD?

  1. You don't need to download anything - iTunes will burn MP3 files to CD on a Mac. Just make sure the Burn MP3 option is clicked in Burn Preferences in iTunes.

One catch though - if you have files that are AAC on Mac in iTunes and you burn them to MP3 on CD you WILL lose some file quality due to the file being re sampled to a lower quality codec - it discards some file information every time you re rip to another codec.

You should also be able to pick up the iTunes library on Mac in Windows just by going to the iTunes Library options in iTunes on Windows and browsing for the iTunes library folder on your Mac.
