How to transfer music from iPod to computer ?

Question

i recently had to re-install windows on my laptop due to a virus. So, i lost everything including my music. All of my music is still on my iPod. how can i get my music from my iPod to my laptop without loosing it ?

1. Connect the iPod to your PC. If iTunes starts syncing (ie erasing) your music automatically, hit the X in the upper right hand corner of iTunes display, to the left of the search box, to stop it.

2. In Control Panel, Portable Media Devices, double-click your iPod.

3. In the Tools menu -> Options, in the View Tab, check "Show hidden files and folders."

4. Navigate to the Music folder.

5. Select all the music folders, and drag and drop them into a folder on your hard drive, or directly into iTunes.

ok, well,  i had this same question a while ago, and i was soooo frustrated by it!! but now, i know THE PERFECT thing! it is called

  senuti



what senuti is, is a free application, (always a plus!) and onces u download it, you simply plug in ur ipod, and it like pops up and u can choose what songs to put ONTO itunes FROM your ipod!!! it is wonderful and SSOOOOO easy!!! and it is even really easy to download.   you see, i just typed in  "senuti" into google and the first thing that popped up was the right sight, i clicked download, and WALA! it was done and ready to use! and  i didn't even need my dads administrative password!! (dont tell anyone!!)    i just clicked it, and it worked!!! it made/makes me so  happy! you DEFFINATELY should try it!
