  1. You can buy a program called MusicRescue. Trust me, it actually works. Install it on your new computer. You can even get it for free but it's not nearly as convenient - you have to hit 'Enter' every 100 songs that rip from your iPod into your PC.

Simple Google 'Music Rescue,' buy the program, install it on your new computer, hook up your laptop, click through the motions and before you know it all the contents from your iPod will rip into your new PC.

    Hope I've helped.

  2. The easiest way to do that is by using iDump.

    its a program in download.com

real easy to copy music files

    and its FREE!

  3. If all the songs on your ipod were bought from itunes then itunes will (or should) extract to the new PC. If they are not bought songs and something you ripped then try this method:

This method will work to get to the files off the ipod but its not easy finding a

    particular song.

    1) Open itunes, under the summmary tab there is an option to enable disk mode,

    enable disk mode.

    2) Minimize itunes, and open my computer.

    3) Open the ipod disk drive.

    4) After the ipod disk drive window is open, at the top of the window click, 'tools.'

    5) At the bottom of the list, click 'folder options.'

    6) Select the 'view tab'

    7) Alittle ways down the list you can see the option to 'show all hidden files and

folders' click to enable the feature.

    8) Apply the settings chages, and exit out to the ipod disk drive window.

    9) Now you will see a folder called 'ipod_control' , open it.

    10) In this folder, open the music folder.

    11) All the files on you ipod are located in these files all the files start with the letter

    F. Highlight the main file and move it (copy/paste) to your PC then import them into

    itunes.

Note, if some of the files on your ipod are bought (copyrighted) the new PC will need

to be authorized to play the files.

  4. my computer > ipod > look for music, dont remember the nam of the folders

  5. You can try Tansee iPod Transfer which can backup songs and videos in iPod to PC, copy iPod songs and videos to new ipod, computer or notebook.

  6. itune blocks this function since itune is the tool with one way to transfer files from itune to ipod. you must utilize other tools to achieve that. There're couple of tools for transferring the files between ipod and computer (for backup)depends on your demands, e.g transfer only songs/videos, transfer photos etc. You can have a look of below review site, hope it useful.
