How to transport an animal from Mexico to U.S.A?

IIts a german 6 month lod sheperd mixshe is really skinny my grandfather has her in his farm but they really dont feed dog nor do they like female dogs so I just got back from overthere and my grandfather told me to take her with me I agree but I was there for only 4 days so there wasnt time to fix her papers of vaccinations. my uncle will fix that but do I have to travel to Guanaguato and pick her up or can I pay for her transportation and m uncle can just put her on the plain and I pick her up in Tijuana then cross the border with her. And how much will it be for her "tiket"

A good place to start is on Delta's and Continentals web sites. They have alot of info on plane travel for pets.If you then have other questions call the Continental 800 #. Deltas 800 # is difficult to navigate past the computer and get to a human. Continentals phone got me right to  a knowledgeable and helpful person.Basics - Yes you can transport by having your Uncle drop off and you pick up. I would ONLY do that if it's a non stop flight !!!! Need a crate for transport and a ton of planning and coordination on your part. I think your Uncle ( being the shipper ) will have to do more work than you . Taking him to airport, getting his paperwork and such. It's a litltle bit of a hassle but not impossible. Considering your Uncles past with this dog you might want to consider having to go get her yourself. I applaud your love for this dog and hope it turns out well.
