I don't live together with my boyfriend yet and he needs to take a 1 h flight to see me and 2 hours drive afterwards. I want to cook on Sundays so he can pack food to take with him.

I will make soups, stews and sauces that need to stay cold during his tranvel. Is there a way to keep the food cold? He can check in his luggage and transport them that way. Any ideas ??

Thanks a lot !!

  1. you can buy one of those bags that are like freezers on the inside and can keep the food fresh. and put the soups....in one those plastic containers you can get at chinese resturants, not the ones made out of paper. then, you can put it that way in his luggage. dont worry they wont detect it. my grandma has brought knives over.

  2. Because of a rule implemented like a long time ago, no liquid is allowed past security, which means your soup and stews. In order for food to qualify, it needs to be in it's ORIGINAL packaging like a bag of chips or a pack of crackers. Now, he can check in the soup but that would be pretty stupid since we all know how the baggage people handle the bags.

  3. your weird soup is not allowed on planes

  4. No food what-so-ever is allowed on planes, unless you have bought it from the airport, after going through security.
