  1. you might try putting up a fence around the garden area.  you can get some small t-posts and some chicken wire- you would only need to make  the fence about 18" high and all the way to the ground.  this will keep rabbits out.

  2. You will need a trap and you can get one for free.  In our area there is a wildlife rescue organization which will loan you a trap for 3-5 days if you leave a refundable deposit.  They will then help you relocate the bunny.  If you do decide to put up a fence, use the plastic coated metal or metal.  Our mother of all bunnies chewed right through the plastic one we put up.  Once we fixed that, the mutant monster dug under it, so bury the fence, too.

  3. Use a Rabbit box!   Do a search on how to build a rabbit box trap!  I couldnt use the link but angle fire has a good plan for one!

  4. I know somebody with three cats - they take care of all the rabbits, mice, and squirrels who try to steal anything.

  5. This site has directions for a trap and a fence. When I made these traps with my grandad, he always used slats of wood for the sides of the box, which seems  better for air circulation. You'll trap rabbits with the box, but I bet that a fence would help more. Chances are there is more than one fat cat rabbit.
