  1. http://www.bahn.de/p/view/international/...

Here you can find the train connections.

It takes to 1,5 to 2 hours and costs 24-27 €uro.

And Yes there are great skiing location near both of this cities.

  2. It also depends on the type of train you are taking, RB, ICE, IC, or EC.  It shouldn't take more than 2 hours or so.

  3. The cities are quite close...a couple hours apart...both have internationally famous ski areas in the general vicinity...but they are extremely expensive so be prepared...

  4. It takes between 1-1/2 to 2 hours by train depending on how many stops they make along the way. Check the website raileurope to see what works best for you. There is plenty of skiing in both of those areas but you will need to get away from the cities to do it. There are buses that will take you into the Alps where the skiing is fantastic from both Munich and Salzburg.

Enjoy your trip! It's a beautiful area to visit.

  5. You can take the train, fly o rent a car. There is a good skiing area, remember the alps....

Flying: 1 hour, driving 2 hours, I guess with train 1,5 hours.

  6. First try www.bahn.de

You can see the timetable and the fares.

Skiing is bad this year due to less snow. I would prefer OBERTAUERN. You can take a bus or shuttle from Salzburg. I think its about 30 €€. Obertauern is a snowhole. Try the website www.obertauern.com. Some hotels have a own shuttleservice to Salzburg. In Germany its no good skiing at that time. Sorry!
