Try going off season. I have taken several tours and cruises and by travelling off season I have been able to get a balcony canbin for the price of inside during the season. Same with tours and hotels. It's also less crowded. Some times you get a better feel for the place you're going because the crowds are smaller. I did this in Italy 2 years ago. Yes it was fall but we were lucky and light jackets were all that was needed. Shop on the web and agents to find off season deals.
