    i say you may have to end up taking a bus to get to newgrange so i would log into buseireann.ie and if you cant see a bus that goes there at the time you want check to see one that mite be passing it which happens here from time to time


  2. At least 3 or 4 tour companies run out to Newgrange, I believe one of them is pretty much daily. Defintely go! An amazing place.

  3. Bus. Or ask the tourist office in Ireland for information as to how to get to Newgrange from Dublin.

There is no scheduled bus service to Newgrange from Dublin but lots of tour operators do a half day trip for about 30 euro.  If you go independently its easy to find.  Take the M1 out of Dublin heading north for about 30 miles. Take the exit for the village of Donore just before Drogheda and its very well sign posted after that. There is an entrance fee of about 12 euro, reduced for students and AOP's.

    I've been to it many times and its fantastic.
