How to travel to Vung Tau from Ho Chi Minh airport?

My husband is working there. I am going over to look for him but I need specific instruction on how to get to Vung Tau. He will be able to fetch me if I take a ferry to Vung Tau. How can I get to the ferry from airport?

Forget about the taxi, just take the Greenline shuttle speedboat at Bach Dang street, starts from 8 to 12 daily for every hour or so.

or u can go to Vung Tau from Eastern Bus Station. it is cheaper ( take about 2"40h) . u can go there by taxi or "xe om"

cab from the  ther air port to the ferry [ about $ 7us] .you can hire a car [to vung tau] for convienience but the cheapest way to go would be speed boat. you can get a car at the airport or any hotel desk . the speed boat can be accessed at the corner of "ton doc thang " & "nguyen hue " streets just across from the majestic hotel. you can also make boat arrangement at many travel agencies , but it is cheaper to go down to the river and do it on your own.

You can take a taxi from the airport.  The ferry is at the foot of Nguyen Hue by the river in District 1, it will take to Vung Tau. I believe it takes about 90 minutes.
