  1. I've traveled around Europe and Argentina with a friend or two.  But we met tons of people traveling by themselves.  Being by yourself has many benefits.  Look in travel books to go out and see what you want to do in the place you visit.  When you stay at hostels, your bound to meet a lot of travelers who are as happy to be traveling as you.  You'll make tons of friends and have a great time.  Most importantly, go with the flow, and experience what ever comes your way!

  2. ok. when i was 26, i picked a country....i speak b*****d spanish...got the lonely planet guide book. read cover to cover several times, highlighting all the spots that interested me. made sure i had copies of passport and copies of travelers cheques numbers....took money, found a great beach, and came back with an awesome trip by myself.

just think and be careful....there a always good people along the way to help....i found

  3. Take look at http://www.traveljunkies.com. it's designed specially for people like you.

It has loads of links to countries, activities, accommodation, single travel & forums full of ideas by guys who've been there.

If you are on a budget, I'd recommend getting the Rough Guides for the countries you want to visit.

  4. Yes its fun travelling alone. Make sure you stay in Youth Hostels as its a good place to meet other travellers and if your single its a great place to meet women for some fun in your holiday !!

  5. you should do research to know the tourist spots in the country that you want to go. almost all tourist spots have an english speaking side so you don't have to worry about the language. know the best season to travel and note the discounts. your tour must be all planned to get away from confusion. go to certain events on the travel. go to the flight centres and ask them about this, they are experts about this. enjoyment is really up to the person.

  6. hey, this is where Y!A comes in, getting real answers from real people! lets say you want to travel to singapore (that's where i am) or thailand, you just post it & people like myself would give you all the help you need. since we can communicate in english on the net, you'll be able to get us to guide you around & be your interpreter, right?

young man, there's a whole world in front of you, explore while you're still young & able, & you'll get to learn new things, meet nice people all over.
