  1. Your feet should me moving counter-clockwise while your hands move in a front to back motion. Practice this and you will be able to stay in deep parts of a pool! Good Luck!

  2. lol. okay first of all, forget about the bicycle kick and the scissors kick because those two are actually almost as hard to do as flutter kicking. Try the Egg-beater kick, which is having your right leg moving clockwise and the left leg going counter-clockwise. either that or the breaststroke kick.

as for the arm motion, they should be going left and right with your palms rotating out and in to catch the water each time. if done properly, you should be able to see a twister form in the water.

as for speed of your arms and legs, it varies depending on how well you're able to do it.

so good luck, practice, and experiment with different combinations!

  3. First of all the egg beater kick is the most effective and least strenuous of all treading kicks.  Second, is the breastroke kick.  For the hands, they need to scull the water pushing outward and then inward in a pattern that resembles the number 8 on its side.  (Infinity sign)  This should be able to be done at a slow and steady pace.  If you can not, then your form is bad causing you to work harder.  One should never bicycle kick in water it is simply a lost cause.  Scissors kick is also highly ineffective.

  4. just stay calm and move your hand back and fourth just enough to keep u above water
