How to treat a laxative dependant bowel?

how do you treat a laxative dependant bowel? have not been shitting independantly for 3 months. how do i treat it without going to the doctor?

I would not stop the laxatives all at once but lower the dose you take while at the same time increase the amount of fiber you eat.  Make sure you add lots of water too.  Go gradually, lowering laxative, increasing fiber, fruits and veg and water till you do not take the laxatives any more.  Over the course of a few weeks you should be able to get off the laxatives completely.  Also, make sure you are getting some form of exercises too, a nice walk every day, etc

Take some triphala everyday, this helps will being regular and helps build the intestinal walls. the best part about it is the intestines don't become dependent on it. Eat lots of fruit and drink plenty of water.
