How to treat and identify bugs inside of apartment?

Hi! How you doing there? As the title says, I have got so so serious/urgent problem inside my apartment. Which are bugs hide in my carpet! I can't even identify the bugs inside my home. They bite me like 10~ 20 times a day, my wounds is everwhere of my body. I've went to San Francisco General Hosipital Emerency, doctors said it is not chicken box even though they looks like it. My dad guess are Lice! Not sure, but we really need to kill them immediatly. Schools has started today, with dozen wound on my neck looks like I got skin problems, its scary. >.< I could like some advice to kill them and again this is carpet, I cannot wash it for some reason! Thanks

Edit: I've been United State for about 2 years, as immigrants, we have our own story. Poor living condition than HongKong for sure. Parents lives here feel pain cause they don't speak English. =[ So, what I am want to say is don't mind my bad grammar please! And I could like some helpful advices from you guys. =]

We lived in an apartment which is a room, contain kitchen and restroom with carpet...all in 30 sq2 . Pretty bad yea. >.<

You can buy a bug bomb from the drugstore or Wal-Mart, but I think they only work for ants and roaches.

It doesn&#039;t sound like lice, because you haven&#039;t said anything about itching, but don&#039;t rule it out.

It sounds like your apartment is infested with fleas. Ask your neighbors if pets were there before you moved in. I&#039;m not sure how you get rid of them in your carpet other than an exterminator. Call Terminix or Orkin.
