  1. Try Neosporine. If they are REALLY infected (puss, redness, inflamed, fever, etc.)  you will need to see a doctor and get oral antibiotics.

  3. It depends on how infected the bites are, it would be best to have a doctor take a look at them. In the meantime, wash them in antibacterial soap, and then apply some triple antibiotic ointment (like neosporin) and then put a band aide on. Keep the wounds clean and covered until they heal up.

    Please do not use peroxide. Peroxide kills the healthy cells as well as the infected ones.

  8. Bed bug bites? I thought they died out with the hay filled mattress. Where the heck do you live?

  9. Apply Campho Phenique to each bite with a cotton swab.

  10. Bed bugs are also know as scabies.  It has to be treated with prescription medicines.  If they are infected you can try antibiotic ointments such as Neosporin or Polysporin but they may need oral antibiotics since the infection is under the skin.

  11. My mother keeps a bottle of Everclear booze in her medicine cabinet to treat chigger bites, swears the stuff will nail them with a dab on a cotton ball. I suppose it'd work the same for bed bug bites too.
