  1. google it before you make yourself look like an idiot!

  2. Your puppy is considered to be very young. I heard that milk can dilute certain "bad" things in a pup's stomach. But worms? I'm not too sure. I would call an emergency hospital and ask them if there's anything you can do until then. If they keep replyling, "take him in as soon as possible," and you can't, keep calling around. An emergency pet hospital is open 24/7 and they should be able to suggest a few things.

  3. I'm not sure how well worming products from the stores work, but you can bathe him with a mild shampoo for the fleas. Just make sure you leave the soap on for a few minutes to drown the fleas.

  4. It is probably tape worms, as they come from them swallowing the fleas. You can get cat wormer at most stores, but make sure it is for tape worms .  The vet can help with that.

  5. Puppies that young CANNOT be bathed in flea shampoo. The chemicals can poison the puppy. You will have to get a comb and some rubbing alcohol and comb the fleas out of the coat and drop them into the alcohol. You can also take a cotton swab and dip that in the alcohol and when you find a flea, touch the flea with the soaked swab. It will incapacitate the flea long enough for you to grab it and toss it into the alcohol.

As for the worms, there is NOTHING you can buy from the store that will kill the worms. Store bought wormers are many times products that have been discontinued by vets because of safety issues. The vet should have hours on Saturdays. Good vets will have appointments reserved for emergencies. Call them and ask if you could possibly get the puppy in sooner because of the worms. In the mean time, make sure that if you have children, that everyone washes their hands after handling the puppy.

  6. He is so young 5 weeks... oh my you are going to have your hands full.  He still needs puppy milk you can get it at Walmarts or a pet store should have it.  The worms aren't going to kill him by Tuesday so I would wait for the Vet because if you give him to much of something it could kill him and not enough you will do no good.  For the future I have given my dog tobacco in his wet food and that kills them off.  Dogs get worms from from other dogs pooh on the ground and from their dogmoms.  I am sure there is also puppy dewormer at the store too.  Fleas can be shampooed away they make a puppy shampoo but you need to treat your yard and house as well or they will just get back on the dog and you.  Good luck.

  7. I think Hes way too young to treated at home. are you giving him puppy milk? you can buy cans at the petstore.  Poor little thing, He should really still be with his momma. i wouldnt give him anything for the worms, wait and let the vet deal with it, just feed him and make sure he goes potty, you might have to rub his butt alittle if hes not going on his own yet, it sounds gross, but if you dont do it he'll die.
