How to tune your guitar for barcelona nights by ottmar liebert?

i think it's c (http://www.ottmarliebert.com/blog/2004/10/tuning-guitar.html) and if it is how do you tune to c? please give an accurate description. i think you're suppose to just tune the top string to c and and tune normally but to which c on which string on which fret?and please don't tell me to just use a tuner. thank you.

if your guitar is in standard right now, in order to tune to c tune your low e down until the ninth fret on the low e matches the a string

then if you want to tune the rest of your guitar down that much tune normally from there :]

He's talking about playing in standard tuning in the key of C and making sure that the strings are all tuned so that the C and E chords sound right.  This is a problem due to the well tempered scale and it's why sometimes you need to make minor adjustments - especially at the second and third strings - so that a tune in a specific key sounds right.
