I'm running off of Windows Vista, and am working in Word. I want to take a .doc and change it to a .jpg so that I can upload it as a picture. Can anyone give me directions on how to accomplish this? Thanks!

  1. Unfortunately, the only direct way I know of is with a seperate program like Corel Draw or Photoshop.

Have you considered converting the doc to pdf? Also, I just looked around in Word and there is a way to Save As and convert to an HTML file. Maybe you could load that into a frame on your website?

The screen grab thing definitely works but its a little complicated and usually requires grabbing the page in 2 halves in order to get enough resolution for a nice image at the end. It also requires a program like Photoshop or corel Draw to put the pieces back together afterwards.  To get a nice finished product, it is complicated.

  2. If the document displays in Word where you have to scroll to see it all, I would recommend the following screen capture program (free) and use the auto-scroll mode to capture an image of your word document.  If you need to edit by cropping out stuff, use any good graphics editor that has a cropping tool or use Faststone's own editor.

Faststone Capture, version 5.3 only: http://www.oldapps.com/old_version_FSCap...

  3. umm i dont really understand but if you want the text you typed to appear as an image, what you can do is press the Prnt Scrn button and then paste it to paint.. then crop it..

heres a good free program to do this:

  4. Take a screen shot of your screen, paste it into Photoshop and save as a jpeg

-- screen shot button is right above the backspace button (on a laptop)

Its copied to your clipboard and then just paste it anywhere you want

  5. The best way to do this is while having the document open press 'Alt' and 'prtsc' at the same time. It will only capture the the visual part of the window. Then have a graphics editing program like paint and then paste the screen into the program. Scroll down the document and repeat it if you need more information in the picture then paste it into new paint programs then consolidate them into one paint program and trim off all the unnecessary part of the pictures. Let me know if you need any additional help.

  6. WTF?

.doc is a a MS Word extension  (used for documents essays, newsletters etc) and .jpeg/.jpg is an image file, used for pictures, photos etc.

they cna not be converted form each other becuase they are compltly different

psd/png/bmp -> jpg fine, cos there all image files.

looka t what your trying to accomplish before asking a question like this again.
