Question:

How to turn an earring into a ring?

My grandma gave me a ton of vintage jewelry, and I found a pair of earrings that are round and are fabric. It looks like the maker just covered a big button with fabric and made a plastic backing while attaching the post.

How do I take off the post and somehow make it into a ring?

The earrings like I said look like a big button just covered with fabric with a plastic backing that has the post on it.

  4. get like a pair of pliers and cut the back off of it the go to a craft store and they sell metal right backs and hot glue it or super glue it to the back
