How to turn an mp3 link into a downloadable one?(project playlist)?

I usually go to "playlist.com" to get my music. So what I do is get the URL link and then when i put it in the address bar it will automatically ask me to save and then it would go straight to my itunes purchased list.

Now when I do those same steps, instead of asking me to save, it opens a music program and won't let me save anymore!

OK, there's a few things that you need first... you need to be using Mozilla Firefox (it's a web browser, much like Internet Explorer). Download that and set it up if you haven't already.

Next, download and install this:

Go to http://www.playlist.com/ and find your song. Play it, then use the little icon next to your address bar to download the file. You have to look in the drop down menu. I know, it's a little confusing at first, but it works.
