In Majoras mask their is no way to turn into old link (you may be getting confused with Ocarina of time) so you be thinking of the feirce deity mask which turns you into the feirce deity (basically old link with white hair and a weird sword) and to get that you must get every other mask in the game and give them to the mask seller. (dont worry when you turn the game back on you'll have all your masks back and the feirce deity mask!)
