How to type è?

How do i type è ? All i can do is copy paste , but is there another way?

hold down 'Alt Gr' on your keyboard and type the letter e with it held down

METHOD 1: [PC/Windows OS] Select the Start menu, then select Settings, then select Control Panel.

Next, choose the Keyboard option and click on the Language tab.

Click the button and choose Italian. An icon will appear in the tray field. Toggle between English and Italian keyboards as needed.

METHOD 2: [PC/Windows OS] With the NumLock key on, hold down the ALT key and strike the three- or four-digit code sequence on the keypad for the desired characters.

Release the ALT key and the accented letter will appear. NOTE: Consult the Italian Language Character Chart for the correct numbers.

METHOD 3: [Apple/Mac] Click on the Apple icon on the top left of the screen.

Single-click KeyCaps (a representation of your keyboard will be displayed).

Hold down the Option key. The character produced by pressing each key will be displayed with a distinctive border while holding down the Option key.

Single-click the accent desired. Type the letter to be accented. For example, to type à, press the Option key, click `, type a. The accented character will appear.

You will need to go into your MS settings and choose the appropriate 'unicode' for the regional language you want to use.  I don't know what OS your using but it's usually in the Control Panel then Language Settings where you can select and install different language packages.

Then you should be able to type in the letter easily.

Otherwise, just cut and paste if you're feeling lazy.

Hold down Alt. and then with the number pad off to the side (not the row above the letters) push 0232 (with alt. still depressed).
