  1. hi you

the main thing is not panic between both flights always make sure that you know the time between flights and where you have to go and how long it will take you to check into your next flight if you cant check into both flights from the word go if you get lost or cant find lost luggage go to airline and airport staff

  2. When you check in at the airport to get  your boarding pass they will give you a boarding pass for your connection in Dallas. This will give you the flight number and the gate number. Also when you are landing at DFW most likely they will announce what the gate number your next flight is. Plus when you get off the plane there will be monitors, like TV's around the airport that list the cities, flight numbers, departure times and gate number.

Enjoy your trip, you'll have a great time. And don't be afraid to ask for directions or information once you get to the airport.

  3. Many times they will announce near the end of the first flight, where the passengers with layovers will need to go to connect to the second flight.  Otherwise there will be huge screens with the word "Departures" over them throughout the airport where you can look to see which gate a flight leaves from and if it will be ontime or not.

  4. If you are concerned you wont be able to find it on your own, ask the gate attendant that will be at the gate counter right after you get off the plane.  He/she will direct you where to go

Your ticket will most likely tell you what gate your next flight is departing from, and DFW is very easy to navigate.  Keep in mind, you may have to get on the train/tram to go to another terminal or concourse. Its easy though.

  5. Look at the screens (the ones above your head) that are all over the airport.  Go to the gate # that is listed next to your flight #.  Once you are there, verify that the gate has the name of the city you are flying to written above it.  Wait for the inevitable 2 hour delay and gate change announcements.  Go to the new gate at the other end of the airport.

  6. Find the TV screens that are labeled 'departure' and they'll show you the gate you should go to and what time your flight is scheduled to leave
