How to uninstall Vista and load XP in Lenovo Y510...

I have purchased one Lenovo Laptop (Ideapad 510) with preloaded Vista. I want to remove Vista and install XP. Whenever I try to do so with the bootdisk of XP, a blue screen pops up with some error message relating to file "pci.sys". Can you please help me by telling how to install XP?
