How to unlock miniSD memory card without resetting all pictures and songs??

i have so many pictures maybe more than 200 and i have more than 300 songs on my memory card. i got a new phone in march & basically forgot about my old phone because the charger was broken & i didnt want to spend money on a new one. well my cousin came over & she has the same old phone i have & i asked to use her charger, i charged it and now it asks for my password for my memory card. i have everything in there. only problem is i forgot mypassword. i want to reset it without deleting all of my valuable pictures & songs.

take the memory card out just to be sure and reset the phone and you should be fine
