How to unscrew the screws on a xbox 360 controller?

I wanted to open up my controller for my 360 because I have sticky keys. I tried to do it with a normal screwdriver but it just broke the centre bit, so I decided to leave it alone until I got some proper information about how to do it. I saw on Yahoo Awnsers that you have to buy a TORX Screwdriver T-9. So I bought it and used it on the top 2 screws on the controller, because the centre bit was broken it worked. However for the rest of them, it was almost impossible for me to break because they're deeper and so I couldn't. Does anyone know any method of breaking the centre bit or the name of the screwdriver that will fit easily.

  4. search youtibe

  5. You need a T9H (Torx 9 security) which has a hole in the centre. Drill bits won't do cos some of the screws are deeply recessed into the plastic so you'll need a screwdriver. Maplin sell them. Its order code N50BG on page 621 of the Autumn/Winter 2008/9 catalogue. £7 for a folding Star Key Set.

  6. What you actually needed was a Torx screwdriver for tamper proof screws. A T9H screwdriver would've let you remove those screws without breaking that anti-tamper center post. Get one with a long bit.
