How to unsubscribe from a group?

i had unsubscribed from a group by mailing to the unsubscribe id that i want to leave the group.but still i am receiving mails from the group.

1. Try to unsubscribe through:

2. Send an e-mail to the group owner telling him/her to stop mailing you. ([e-mail])

3. Block the address(es) or arrange your preferences so that they are sent to your bulk/spam folder.

I would just block the contact/person who is sending you the mail.

it will take a while and may take some ugly letters on your part, I just went thru this myself. I got ahold of the moderator of the group and got help that way. If it's a yahoo group then go thru the whole help section and at the end it will give you a "contact us" type of option. Spell the problem out to them being specific in the email which address you want removed from the mailing list and tell them when and how many times you have tried to unsubscribe. It took me probably a month to stop getting the mail. Good luck!

Sometimes the unsubscribe email command doesn't work well or takes a long time to unsub you from the group.

This will work instantly for you:

Sign in to the group that you want to leave.

Near top of page, click "Edit Membership".

Scroll down to bottom of screen and click "Leave Group".

You will be asked if you are sure you want to leave the group.  Click on "Leave Group".

You will be instantly unsubscribed from the group at that point.  

You will continue to receive any messages that still remain in the Yahoo email server until all of those are sent out. Then you will not receive any more from the group.

At the bottom of the web page, there should be a caption that may include the statement, would you like to unsubscribe, or something to that effect.  You simply follow directions and I hope you get your wish.
