  1. If you do not want to use Yahoo messenger SMS on your phone any more  You need to delete your number from yahoo Mobile

    Go here to remove your device

    http://sites.mobile.yahoo.com/wireless/m...

    You see messenger device

    click on delete

    Plz note:

    this will not effect alerts if you want to still get alerts

    The main thing that this accomplishes is that no one can msg you.. (you wont see I'm mobile" by your name)

    However if your friends know your number they can still send a free SMS to your phone.
