  1. study , get good grades, get goos rest !!! thats a big one !,

below in the souces are some websites that will help you :)

  2. Just do your best. Make sure you do everything on time. Have a great attitude about school , stay positive

  3. You mean Extra Credit.  You bascially take your time on your homework. For me I would spend Time on my homework But I somehow failed my tests no matter how hard I studied.  If you are a good student go to you teachers and say Hey I am really trying hard and it is not working is there anything I can do to help up my grades.  Some teachers will give you extra help.  and also may give you extra credit but you can not tell other students.  Good luck

  4. First, let me ask what are your grades.  Do you need to raise them to pass or raise them to get over the 100 mark.

If it is to pass, then just sit down and study hard to make them higher.

If it is just make over the 100 mark, then if they don't give extra credit, then I'm afraid your out of luck.

  5. Get organized. Buy binders for each class, do your homework. Stop procrastinating.

  6. work harder or talk to your teachers

  7. Upping ur grades? My sister is in 7th. What skewl do u go to?

Well i suggest paying more attention in class instead of worrying about friends and worrying about fooling around. And when u go home spend more time in ur room doing homework put more effort and feel confident.Dont put ur self down.Make esome more study time .

  8. i used to be in seventh grade once . my classmates always complimented the teacher on wats shes not( example: if she/he is ugly, say that they look beautiful or handsome today or that there shirt is nice) try it see how it works

  9. ummmm you try to study and you just work harder!

  10. Make sure you understand every concept you learn in class the day you learn it.  If you didn't get it during class, ask the teacher if you can come by after school for help.  Ask a question if you don't understand something as soon as it comes up.  Don't wait until later thinking you might figure it out.  Study with a smart friend.  Or make smart friends.

  11. Don't watch too much TV and do your homework!

  12. take notes in all your classes u dont need to right down everything the teacher says just right keypoints and when you get home rewrite your notes so you understand them. do all your work because if your do all your work but fail a test you will still pass.make flash cards to study like write vocab for history, science, and english on index card then test yourself on the everyday. to study for test lookover the homework, quizzes, worksheets, and your notes.you will be fine just do all you work take notes in everyclass even if your passing(notes cant hurt)and study for test

  13. Take a serious interest in what you are doing and make it important to you. Learn to enjoy learning because you're going to be doing it for the rest of your life. What you do and learn now will shape the rest of your life. Talk to your teacher and tell him/her that you need help. Talk to your parents about it as well. You seem to have the willingness so take the next step and act on it. Paying attention isn't as easy for some as it is others but do your best. Read your books, ask questions, review your homework before turning it in. Dedicate at least two hours out of your day to school work and stick to that plan. If you show urgency to learn others will be more inclined to help you.

  14. study more

  15. study hard... don't spend so much time on other things  like computer, hanging out, phone, TV study more and finish all of your homework.

I'm in gr.8 and i almost failed last year because all i did was.. nothing i didn't do homework.. and i didn't care about failing. and this year all i do is do all of my homework on time and i have pretty good marks, and when the teachers explaining something.. listen. it helps me

  16. If you lean strongly in one direction on learning styles, learning what works well with that style might be a help. I am a VERY visual learner while my son is VERY auditory. If I used the methods he finds successful, I would find it difficult to learn the material and vice versa.

If you do an internet search on learning styles, you will likely find a test that will help you determine what your best learning style is. There should also be lots of resources and tips on your style specifically.

If you are visual, look up the IMHC Cmap tool. It is free and fantastic!

  17. You up your grades by becoming a better student. Check out books from the library on study skills, on how to be a good student, etc. Read lots on your own, make sure you practice your math skills, do ALL of your homework and keep practising and reviewing.

  18. it really depends. if you need study tips than some are:

    * when you learn new notes or something, start studying them even before you know there's a test, this way its already in your memory

    * dont wait until the last minute to study

*dont wait until the last minute to do homework cuz the faster you get it done, the faster u can do whatever u want

If your school doesnt give extra credit, there is no shortcut, sorry

  19. ok well i had like a 50 in my english which i had to bring up so when we had a quiz i made sure i knew what was on it. also do yoyur homework it helps so much more then you think do it every class. just know what your doing and follow directions and participate in class many teachers count this to your average too.

  20. That's sad because you obviously need some help on your English and grammar....

  21. STUDY-UDY-UDY!... Especially before a test

    Carrie

  22. My sister-in-law and my niece are both teachers.

We were just talking about this... I was told:

    1. Make sure you have turned in all your work. If you have assignments missing, get them done and turned in.

    2. From now on, make sure you turn your work in on time... it's silly to lose points just for turning stuff in late. (if your teacher does that)

    3. If you have any big assignments that you didn't do well on, talk to your teacher, maybe they will let you redo the assignment. This wouldn't be extra credit so might slip through. I had a professor in college who let me re-write a paper that I did badly on... I thought might average the two grades but he didn't... he dropped the bad one completely and only counted the better one!

    4. If you are sincere about trying to better and not just looking for a quick fix for your grade to get parents off your back, sit down with your teacher and ask them what they thing you can do that would help your grades the most. I know my relatives seem to know exactly what their students need to do to fix things, the kids just won't do it.

One of their kids wanted extra credit but she wouldn't give him any because he had like a third of his assignments that he hadn't turned in. He doesn't need 'extra' credit... he just needs to get more of his 'regular' credit :)

Sometimes people will tell you that your grades don't matter until high school.  It might be true that no-one pays much attention to your grades but remember that the more you can learn now, the easier things will be on you later.

I'm really bad about putting things off but honest, if you work at this stuff now so you are comfortable with the basics, you'll find that high school is way easier.  It will pay off, I promise :)

  23. 1. Pay attention in class

    2. Study hard for tests- it pays off alot and especially review what you have trouble with over and over again

    3. Do ALL classwork and homework assignments! they really matter when they add up

    4. Try to take good, neat, notes all the time. They really make studying alot easier and you feel better about yourself!

Good luck! I'm sure if you try hard, you will soon be a straight A student

  24. study a lot and be really comitted! if you really need help, ask if you teacher has tutorilas before a test and they'll usually help you study

  25. The best thing is to really study as hard as you can.  Take notes in class, maybe even take a tape recorder to class to record the lectures.  Those are just a few things that help me out.  Good luck! :)
