How to update and iPhone?

So i got an 8Gb iphone its version is 1.17 something like that

and i want to update it to 2.01 how do i do that?

i connect it to itunes but after that i do not know what to do please

help! best answer will definatly get chosen as best answer

  1. Well, 1.17 is wrong xD.

    Anyway, you connect to iTunes.

    Click on iPhone in the left side of iTunes.

    Click on "Check for Updates"
