I have not updated my BIOS at all. but recently I've been thinking I should but all the updates I've seen needed to use a Floppy drive. Is there an easy way to do it without one?

My motherboard is a ASUS P5GD2- Deluxe

  1. hey there really is no need to update your BIOS unless your doing something that requires you to update it so don't worry about it unless your doing something that needs you to upgrade BIOS

  2. You should be able to put it in the root of the C: drive and run it from there if you boot to a c: prompt.

If not, does your computer allow booting to a USB device like a thumb drive?

If not, you might have to beg, borrow, buy or steal a floopy drive to do the BIOS flash.
