  1. Unfortunately Dell never released Windows Mobile 5 or 6 for the Axim X3 (which I'm assuming you're referring too).

    You can't simply install a new version of Windows like a desktop PC.

    You "might" be able to find an unnoficial version of Windows Mobile 5 but its probably not worth the hassle.
