How to upload music and video on enmac?

If miniDV or Digital8 tape based, use the DV port on the camcorder connected to the firewire port in the computer. Firewire, IEEE1394a and i.Link are all the same thing. Not USB.

If hard drive based, connect using USB and copy the files over. You may need to download and install StreamClip

to deal with the highly compressed MPEG2 standard definition files.

If flash memory based either treat the same as hard drive based or take the memory card out of the camera and use a card reader connected to the computer. StreamClip may be required, too

If DVD based, your computer needs a drawer loading DVD optical drive so you can rip the video using HandBrake:

If the DVD drive is a slot loader, you need to get (most likely) an external drawer loading DVD drive - or

If some other storage media or analog or your computer has a slot loading DVD drive (and you don't want to get an external drawer loader), you will need to get an analog/digital bridge like
