How to upload my photo in yahoo??? also in yahoo messenger??? I'm the new user.?

I had a problem to add or upload photo in my yahoo mail and yahoo messenger. Can someone help me? please. I'm the new user.

Hello,

In Yahoo Mail, You can put an cartoon kind of picture which is called as "Avatar".  To display your Avatar in your mail or Messenger or in Yahoo Answers, you need to create one.  Please follow these below steps, if you need an Avatar.

Go to http://avatars.yahoo.com/

First, select your Avatar's gender at "Preferences" in Blue fonts at the top right side of the page (You need this only if you want to change the gender that you get automatically); Then,

1) Click on "Appearance" -- for Face, eyes' color & Hair styles / color;

2) Click on "Apparel" -- for Clothes;

3) Next on "Extras" -- to select Pets, Hats, Glasses, etc. etc.,

4) "Backgrounds" -- for different kind of backgrounds from Snowy mountains to Sunset at the Beach;

5) After all the selections, click "Save Changes" in Orange box, located below to the Avatar (at the left side of the page).

Once you have saved your Avatar, it will be automatically displayed in your Yahoo Mail account.  To display it in your Messenger::

1) Sign-in to Yahoo Messenger;

2) Click on "Messenger" at the tool-bar;

3) Select "My Display Image";

4) Check the Radio Button beside to "Share My Avatar";

5) Click OK.

**You can display your real picture in Yahoo Messenger instead of the Avatar.  But, you cannot display your real picture in your Mail account.
