How to upload pictures to a pc from Finepix a820?

Question

I have been using it fine but recently when i have connected the camera to the usb and to the pc finepix doesnt start up automatically like it used to and when i click on it its as if the cameras not connected.The pictures upload fine onto iphoto which automatically starts up when i connect the camera.I cant get the pics off iphoto so is there a way i can get finepix to start back up automatically when i plug in the camera?

you need to de select iphoto as the default photo editor. If you dont know how to do this try re loading the drivers onto your pc from the disk that came with your camera and that should set it as default
