  1. Would go with a Palomar or Clinch knot for tying her up. Link will show you how to tie them, that along with other good fishin' knots that'll come in handy for different situations. Site is in the animated format so knots are real easy ta' learn how to tie.

Other Answers ppl will give different methods of usin' a Spinnerbait, only thing I might add is that after the cast I would (past tense ie., don't do Bass anymore) let the spinner bait go inta' what I call a "Dead-Fall", this is where after your cast let the spinnerbait drop lettin' the blade do it's own thing ie., spinnin' naturally without a retrievin' action. After she's dropped, give a good jerk to start the blade(s) spinnin' followed  with a slow steady retrieve, stoppin' and doin' the "Dead-Fall" method again and or just a slow steady retrieve. Not good at all explainin' somethin' like this on a keyboard and I hope ta' H _ _ _ l that I haven't completely confused ya', soooo to make up for my shortcomins' am supplyin' you with a link that'll explain in text and diagrams how ta' tie/rig up a spinnerbait. Good luck and "Fish On" ;)... < ' ( (( > <

  2. well you tie the knot at the elbow or bend between the spinner and the bait. and cast it out a little past where you think the fish are and reel in a little bit then let it sink...then jerk it a couple of times and then reel again but this time all the way. i just caught a 5 1/2 pounder doing that!

  3. Excellent answer FS.

    Thumbs to FS!

  4. ok first, the spinnerbait should come to a a triangle, one end is the spinner and the other is the bait, now in the middle or the point there should be a circle, or a u shape, thats where u put the knot! as far as retrieving it, its fish preference, if there really biting, then ur can bring it in alittle faster, and if there not biting, go alittle slower. and dont always make it smooth, jerk it around alittle, grab the fish' attention! but other than that, they do work really well! Good Luck!
